Chris Oggerino began his ski career as a young kid with a brief racing career in Zurich Switzerland in their Junior League. The experience cemented his love of the sport and provided early opportunities to help others with their skiing. Prior to his adult career in software technology Chris raced NCAA. 17 years ago, Chris began a side career teaching skiing at both Sky Tavern and Mt. Rose where he is currently the Trainer of Instructors. Chris has accomplished certifications as a PSIA instructor including Level 3 Alpine, Level 2 Children, Level 2 Seniors and Level 1 Freestyle certifications. We’re excited to have Chris join our team! He will be coaching Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays.

November 2019 – Biste Technologies announces that they are taking the Biste Method of teaching to the highest non-professional level by representing the United States at the Winter World Masters Games! Winter World Masters Games are just like the Winter Olympics with opening and closing ceremonies and all the Winter Olympic events but they don’t happen as frequently. The elephant in the room, the competitors are 30yrs and older. That means we have a whole lot of experience, so don’t think for a New York minute these games aren’t competitive. WWMG 2020 is the highest level of competition available for non-professional winter athletes. Competitors include those who have maintained high levels of fitness and skill in their respective sports beyond the age of 30. These athletes compete as representatives for 55 countries. Not only do these athletes compete at the highest non-professional levels, they will also be demonstrating the highest levels of integrity and professionalism in the sports they have represented their entire lifetime.
